Blindenheim

There is more to this shop interior for Blindenheim Basel than meets the eye.
The neutral colour- and material-palette is inspired by the woven baskets manufactured by visually impaired people in the Blindenheim workshop which is located within the shop. Our design of the clever wall storage units made out of a simple perforated wood board that is totally customizable for a visually engaging display was inspired by the braille alphabet. All of the units are designed in the same vein, to offer the shop keepers a lot of storage within the shop and a clear, museum-like canvas to bring attention to the craft skills of the makers and information about the Blindenheim Basel.
