

The food and ingredients supplier Kündig & Cie in Zürich is a family-owned company founded in 1920.
The business has been run out of two stories of office spaces located in central Zürich for the last 40 years. The new generation of Kündig brothers taking over the company has hired Studio Frey to breathe new life into their offices.

Kitchen and dining area, the 'Kündig food innovation lab' features a terrazzo floor and a custom made kitchen.
To design the space we took inspiration from the ingredients themselves, in particular wheat, also featured in the company logo.
Kündig's portfolio ranges from dry goods and frozen food products to grain, pulses and feedingstuffs through to juices, super foods and plant-based proteins. In total they provide a selection of around 10,000 products.
